2019-20 D1 Scores

Re: 2019-20 D1 Scores

Wisconsin beats Minnesota 3-0 in a game that was much, much closer than the final score. Norby was the difference, making two great plays and just sneaking the pick into the net twice.

Re: 2019-20 D1 Scores

UConn gets a late PP & EA goal to force OT, but Codie Cross gives Northeastern a 3-2 win with 70 seconds left in OT.

Re: 2019-20 D1 Scores

Minnesota is playing like a team that did not enjoy practice this week. It's 4-0 after two periods and, despite Scobee having to make several nice saves, notreallythat close.

Watching online, I find myself wondering in Minn got 'sped up' during the Wisconsin series and are still playing at that speed. Because Duluth is knee-deep in mud.

Re: 2019-20 D1 Scores

UMD up 1-0 after a period. I'm questioning whether these are actually WCHA refs, as they are actually calling penalties. And they'd better keep doing so, because this game is on the edge of getting out of control.

Re: 2019-20 D1 Scores

UMD 2, Minnesota 0 after two periods. The Gophers are having trouble getting it out of their end, and aren't converting their chances when they do.

Re: 2019-20 D1 Scores

Credit to UMD for rebounding from a rather dreadful performance yesterday to a superlative bounce back win this afternoon. Is there more of a Jekyll & Hyde type team this year in women's D1 hockey? Even though the Gophers outshot them 35-24 the Bulldogs very much deserved the win - nothing fluky about it.

2-4 in their last 6 games. Shutout in 2 of the last 3 games, but a couple of well played games mixed in...Yeah, I'm not sure what to expect when this team takes the ice lately.
