Curious as to what the record was. The 1906 Philadelphia A's and 1968 Chicago Cubs at 48 innings.

I've already seen it referred to as a "hobble off." First pitch too.

That being said, the Twins won 20 games in August to put themselves in great position to make the playoffs. I'll be at the second to last game of the season (against Detroit), so here's to hoping they are still playing important baseball then.
