It's still funny to me that media makes the "taking a spot" argument for minor leaguers.

No one's taking anyone's spot. If you were good enough, the team would have a spot for you. Are we talking about the last guy out on lowest level? Like the worst player who's just good enough to play in the minors if not for that **** Tebow! :D

I don't agree. Tebow does not belong in Single A. He being there means somebody else isn't there. That somebody else could frankly be a player who blossoms and is of greater value than the team currently knows, who is for the time being denied that opportunity.

None of this is Tebow's fault, it's the Ponzis. They are trying to milk this through merc sales. It's insulting to fans of the team, which means me, which means it's serious. We have a team obviously in a pause year with a trillion injuries, and the right thing to do is trade veterans for what we can get, promote our AAA wunderkinds for a half-year of ML competition to see what we've got, and then allow the dominoes in the middle levels to escalate naturally. Instead, we have a circus act. That's owner malfeasance.
