1,600 people went to the Marlins game yesterday.

Also, Jeb and Jeter have split up. Apparently, Jeb wanted a controlling interest without paying more.

No better symbol for how the season has gone than a broke Mr. Met blowing guys at 2 in the morning on the corner of 2nd and East 57th for drug money.

Twins are tied now 27-23, 15-5 on the road. Weird.

Oh, and have a -21 run differential. Weirder.

Albert Pujols hit his 600th HR tonight, a grand slam.

I'm sure Brad Lidge still checks his closet for Albert Pujols.

That's what happens when one of the starters throws almost 70 pitches in the first two innings, plus two visits by the trainer before exiting two batters into the 3rd.

The Astros have won 10 straight. At this rate they may have a 20 game lead at the break.

This is one of the strangest batting line's in history.

Art Shamsky (later the Mets 69 hero) entered the game as a pinch hitter in the bottom of the 8th, and hit homeruns in the 8th, 10th, and 11th, in a game lost in the 13th.

Oh man. The Big Fella is in line to start for the Yankees when I'm in Anaheim on Monday night. I am pumped!!
