Mercyhurst up 4-2 on RMU. Colgate looks pretty likely to beat Cornell.
If those scores hold, we've pretty much got ourselves a bracket:
WHEA Champion @ (3) ECAC Runner Up
COLGATE WINS WITH SCORE with 1 second left, on power play
Your guess is as good as mineWHO 'dat WHEA Champion
Ohio State leads one to zero in 'goals disallowed', they are tied 1-1 in 'loud ringing pipes', but it is 0-0 'at the pay window' (as Bob Uecker likes to say.)
Sauve is NOT playing for OSU. Amanda Zeglen had a very good first period.
I was under the impression that Sauve would be back from her injury today.
Is she done for the season?
Northeastern, Mercyhurst, and Colgate winning means we have the following bracket, barring any committee shenanigans:
OSU @ (1) Wisconsin
Mercyhurst @ (2) ECAC Champ
WHEA Champ @ (3) ECAC Runner-Up
Cornell @ (4) BC
Unless Minny beats Wisco, then UM to UW, OSU to BC, and Cornell out.
Why not:
OSU @ (1) Wisconsin
Mercyhurst @ (2) ECAC Champ
Cornell @ (3) ECAC Runner-Up
WHEA Champ @ (4) BC

Zumwinkle 2 Ohio State 0 Final
Zumwinkle had a heck of a game. Best player on the ice by a long shot.
I was on the edge of my seat pretty much the entire game. SO exciting! Looking back I think this may have been the Gophers' most complete game of the season. Everyone on the team bought in to the game plan and gave maximum effort all over the ice. Good thing, because Ohio State is very good, and you're not going to beat them unless you're clicking on all cylinders. That was probably the most nervewracking non-overtime hockey game I've ever watched.
