Clarkson 4 Yale 1 after 1 Period.

Yale's goal scored when Clarkson dman screened Tiley. Shot from the point went between dmans legs and thru Tiley 5 hole before she could react.

Gabel with 3 goals and Titus 1 for CCT.
SOG 14-10 CCT

SLU 2 Quinny 0 after 1.

SLU 2 goals on 6 SOG.

Giguere and Pejzlova with goals in period 2 join linemate Loren Gabel giving the top line 5 of the 6 goals.

Gabel with 3 goals and 2 assists on the game.

I think she broke Patty Kaz winner Jamie Lee Rattray's single season scoring mark.

Yes she broke the JLR season goal scoring mark of 29 with her first goal today.
Giguere with her assist today ties the single season assist record of Genevieve Bannon with 38. Gabel has 33 assists.
Gabel is now 1 point shy of tying JLR single season point mark of 66.

Clarkson 10 Yale 1 Final

Goals by Shelton (2), Fournier and Pejzlova in period 3.

Gabels 3 goals in the first 4:18 of the game is an NC$$ Record according to the Clarkson Announcers
Gabels 3 goals and 3 assists in the game give her 67 points, breaking Jamie Lee Rattrays Clarkson single season record for points of 66.

Same dominance by Clarkson today but different score. 0-0 end of 1.
Yale's Kira O'Brien has stopped 15 SOG to 3 against Shea Tiley.
McGill of Clarkson had a wide open net from about 3 feet away and shot it wide :eek: .

Much different period. Yale with much more puck possession and took a 1-0 lead when Tiley misplayed a puck behind the net.
Clarkson then had 2 power plays and connected on both, McGill with both goals.
Period 3 begins with Yale on the PP.

It looks like CCT will play SLU in semi #1 next weekend.

Oh, and Gabel got the other goal plus one assist so 4 goals and 4 assists on the weekend.

It's a (w?)rap for the quarterfinals with Colgate registering their 2nd win against Harvard, 6-1 Saturday.
Although one of the distiinguishing characteristics of 'Gate is the 10 players with 20 or more points, Junior Jesse Eldridge's hat trick Saturday is beginning to propel her at the top of this pack with 41 points ( 21 goals, 20 assists ).

The 6-4 win on Friday was not as satisfying as Colgate went sleepwalking after their dominant 3-0 first quarter. They haven't had to scratch and scramble too many times this season like they did last night in the the 3rd quarter when the score was 5-4.

The Alliance 3rd place game between Frankin Pierce and Holy Cross is playing 20 minute overtimes (at least according to collegehockeystats.net)!!!

Lol yes, I was DM'ing the guy in charge of that on Twitter and told the guy "that is the dumbest thing I've ever seen." His response was "Yeah, that was my bad," followed by an "FML" hahaha

The Patty Kaz Good: She did have a goal and an assist.
The Patty Kaz Not So Good: Her line was on the ice for both the tying and winning goals.

Cornell 3 Princeton 0 after 2 periods.

So the ECAC Championship next Saturday will involve the travel partners:

SLU vs Clarkson
Cornell vs Colgate

The winners meet on Sunday.

Should be one heck a weekend in Potsdam.
