Gotta love how you made elbo's point for him, "donkey"... If the AQ's truly improve recruiting, why do certain conferences remain weak-sisters regardless of having them year after year?

Hint so you can find what you ARE missing:
Division III strength of schedule (SOS)*
- Consisting of Opponents' Average Winning Percentage (OWP) and
- Opponents' Opponents' Winning Percentage (OOWP)
Those aren't DII opponents though like has been claimed. If you scheduled Canton twice on your own then you have no one to blame but yourselves for it killing your SOS and not getting in. Maybe if you guys would get out of the east once in a while and head west you'd get a real nice SOS boost.
Some opponents are mandated. I believe Canton v SUNYAC is mandated.
So now we should have a criteria based on last years performance? That is one of the all time dumbest things ever. Maybe we should have a "best appearing jersey" criteria too lol
Oh and by the way, I know of at least one National Champion that has given up 8 goals in a game, lost by 6 and went on to win the National Title.....
And upon further review....another one off of the boards...
2005-2006 Augsburg 7 SNC 4
SNC 23-4-2...I guess they shouldn't have been in the dance that year either...

Stick with me here...
Norwich, who Plattsburgh played twice had a record of 17-8-2.
Norwich, who also plays 4 games against DII opponents (mandatory), had an NCAA Record of 14-8-1
Several other of Plattsburgh's mandatory opponents played DII opponents, thus losing X amount of wins comes NCAA Record (as far as SOS goes).
If you look at the DIII KRACH SOS and look at Plattsburgh's SOS vs UWSP SOS then look at the DII/DIII KRACH you would see that Plattsburgh and UWSP switch spots. Plattsburgh overtakes UWSP in SOS by adding those DII teams in. A flip in SOS would have given Plattsburgh the SOS win, and a 2-1 criteria win over UWSP sending the Pointers home.
Enough - if you want to live by the one game theory, then win the LAST one....its the only way a single game is guaranteed to get you in....win the last game you play before the tourney starts.... #GameSetMatchThat's an awful lot of assumptions that would have to go your way, including assuming the committee would weigh all of the criteria equally. Like I said, just beat Williams and you're in for sure. One game!!!
Then it goes back to my original post: beat Williams and you're in or win your AQ and you're in. Either one of those two games turns into a win and Plattsburg(h) is in the tournament. Or not end up playing a patsy like Middlebury twice.
So, I admit to my mistake in my line of thinking last year, to the point of saying that I had to eat crow, and you go on to bash me for it? Glad I'm not your friend.
The last question was just a question which started with "Out of curiosity". Thanks for answering it (sarcastically).
That's an awful lot of assumptions that would have to go your way, including assuming the committee would weigh all of the criteria equally. Like I said, just beat Williams and you're in for sure. One game!!!
Uhhh that's not an assumption. Plattsburgh won Win % and would have won SOS. UWSP won RNK by 1 game. Actually Williams wasn't even a guarantee. It would have tied RNK but SOS still went to UWSP. The committee's numbers were about as clear black and white as you can get. Which is why I said 2 weeks prior that Plattsburgh had to win against Geneseo and took massive flack for it.
It wasn't between Williams and Plattsburgh. Williams beat UWSP in criteria, thus taking #2 Pool C. It then would go UWSP vs Plattsburgh for the third Pool C bid. You don't have to be in the smoke filled room to understand black and white criteria.
Having a "defending champion" as a primary criteria is just ridiculous.
Sure! Prominade or Docey Doe?Again, I pointed that out. And, again, you point out that my mistake was over a ridiculous point. Do you want to keep doing this?
Because Williams was the #1 Pool East, SNC was #1 West.
SNC WINS
#1E Williams vs #2W UWSP
Williams wins
#2E Plattsburgh vs #2W UWSP
UWSP
Just look at the rankings and follow criteria, it's pretty easy....
