Really happy for Raines. You can't keep screwing the guy for spending his prime in Montreal where nobody saw him play. I expect Guerrero will be next. Between those two and Dawson already being in, that ought to cover it for our friends to the north.
Bagwell I don't care either way. Ivan Rodriquez was arguably greatest catcher of all time so 1st time on the ballot induction is worthy.
For the guys who didn't make it, I'm not on the Edgar Martinez train although I think he gets in eventually. IMHO he's actually being hurt by Ortiz who has a better case to be the first pure DH in the HOF if the voters want to wait 5 years.
I'd put Trevor Hoffman in there. Again not the guy's fault he was stuck on the Padres all those years.

Rodriguez is in the top 3 at the bare minimum (along with Bench and Berra. Yes, Berra). To me, he's a slam dunk.
Guerrero and Hoffman all but have their tickets punched at this point. We could very easily see a 5 man class next year. I think it's going to be razor-thin with Edgar Martinez, but I suspect he ends up in front of the Veterans Committee.
For all the talk about Clemens and Bonds making big jumps, they're still ~90 votes short at this point, with 5 years to go. I'm not sure the Veterans Committee is going to be too kind to them if it comes to that.

Not sure how many years he has left but Mussina has to be happy. I've come around on him a bit since he did play his entire career in the AL East, facing off against world champions in his own division like the Blue Jays, Yankees and Red Sox.
