2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

So, the twinks are not content with long losing streaks. Now they have to start giving up 2 touchdown (plus a 2 pt. conversion) scores?

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Twins have now allowed 8 or more runs in 6 consecutive games. That's a franchise record. Woohoo!!!!!!!

Remember the "glory" years when we won division titles by playing defense and breakin' hearts? :(

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Twins hold the Indians to 1 run. Lose 1-0 in 10. Can't make it up. Losing streak goes to 11.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

The most amazing thing to me is that the weekly MLB power rankings over at the Sports Overlord still have the Twins at 29, with Atlanta still below them. Hasn't this long losing string amounted to anything?

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Anybody know the team's record for consecutive losses?

14 in a row from the 1982 team that also holds the Minnesota Twins record for most losses in a season(102).

They also have a still-active 12-game post-season losing streak.

Don't have to worry about them extending that post season losing record anytime soon.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

So if Minnesota and Atlanta both finish last in their league 2017 could be 1991 Part Deux.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

The streak is over at 13. Buxton with a 3 run bomb. Twins 8 White Sox 5.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Dozier is on a sick roll. Needs to be traded this off season for some pitching. Do it while his stock is high. Roll with Polanco next year at second.
