2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Aren't I young enough to be the cornerstone of the rebuild?

David Ortiz. He showed promise, but not quite enough promise for the Twins to work with him. What happened? He's sent packing out east, to the Yankees, where he's done right for himself.

Watch the Bahston blow up now.

To be fair, their left field fence is a TAD different than the Dome's. ;) Just sayin'.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

As soon as Ortiz showed promise I knew he was done in MN because he didn't fit the "Twins way" and he'd eventually demand out of there because he'd be too big for the frachise. This was maybe 2 years before he left.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

He didn't show that much promise. He was also perpetually injured. It was the right choice at the time.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

How do we do things like this to the Rangers and Indians but blow *** against everyone else?

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

I imagine the Indians didn't plunk anyone given where the Twins are in the standings?

No one in the history of baseball has ever totaled more homers (37) and more walks (96) than Miguel Sano through 162 career games.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Hopefully they'll break 102 losses which would make them the worst team in Minnesota Twins history. They'd have to lose 114 to be the worst team in franchise history...
They had better get cracking if they want to hit 102 losses! 72 right now, with 41 games left. (minus any non-made-up rainouts)
