2015 World Junior Championships

Re: 2015 World Junior Championships

It especially stinks that both empty netters came from (pretty much) unforced errors by USA in the offensive zone, especially the first one.

Re: 2015 World Junior Championships

Or if the refs were better this game would be going to OT.

Well, yes. But the USA still didn't deserve a win, and you'd have a tough time convincing me they deserved to go to OT.

Canadian superior size and skill both evident in this one.

Welp, still can't beat Canada. This one was closer than it should've been. They were not good.

Edit: ok...
Okay, I'm writing this in the aftermath of a defeat, but it seems like the US is always playing uphill against these guys; like they're playing their older brothers.

Flat out, until USA Hockey can consistently get past Canada in tournaments, it'll always be like that. It's close, but it's just not there.

Re: 2015 World Junior Championships

We played as sloppy as I've seen this team play and were still just a bad allowed goal and two ENGs away from overtime.

Re: 2015 World Junior Championships

And now the Russians choke against the Czechs and the US has to play them. God*****. This day couldn't have gone worse.

Re: 2015 World Junior Championships

Not true. If it goes to OT, the Czech Republic is eliminated and US gets Denmark.

Yeah. Tough to swallow. Good news is that Russia hasn't exactly looked great during this tournament. Haven't to go through them, Sweden and Canada to win a gold is a little disheartening all the same.

Re: 2015 World Junior Championships

Gotta win the games no matter what. Never like that whining cause you got a tougher draw.
Shoulda beat Canada
