Re: 2015 World Junior Championships

Canada leading Finland 1-0 going into the second.

Group A

USA 2-1-0-0 8
Canada 2-0-0-0 6
Slovakia 1-0-0-2 3
Finland 0-0-1-1 1
Germany 0-0-0-2 0

Group B

Sweden 3-0-0-0 9
Russia 1-1-0-1 5
Swiss 1-0-0-1 3
Czechs 0-1-0-2 2
Denmark 0-0-2-1 2

Looks like I picked two good U.S.A. games to miss. Seems like they were never in doubt.

I only wish FlagDUDETTE had a passport; I would have went with her to one of the last two. :(

Finland v Germany might be fun...

This just in: Canada is good at hockey. Can Demko and the D keep them to <4 goals? Not sure they can.

We all knew this Canada team was loaded. We're certainly the underdogs but if Demko plays well and the D keeps making smart decisions with the puck and moving it we can play with them.

Eichel will really need to bring his A game which we haven't seen yet in any of the previous 3 games in my opinion.

Can't wait for the game. Always good stuff. I also think the US has done a good job playing in front of Canadien crowds lately too.

Re: 2015 World Junior Championships

USA will need to score more in order to best the Canadians, one or two goals will not cut it. Did anybody else notice during the playing of the national anthem yesterday
that Hudson Fasching forgot to remove his helmet?

Not that it is an excuse in anyway but I did notice the entire team looked caught off guard, rushed by how quick the anthem started playing. They were all scrambling, shuffling to take helmets off and get situated before standing still for the duration.

He didn't want to get a penalty for removing his helmet :p
