2015 World Junior Championships

Love these uni's. They should always wear them.

What patience by Deangelo to set up Milano but he sailed the shot wide or the goalie got the end of his stick on it.

Definitely a much slower pace to this game than the previous two so far.

Milano seems a little snakebit so far this tournament. He's had a lot of good chances and has hit posts or been robbed by goalies.

Re: 2015 World Junior Championships

A very unproductive time for me at work...Michigan vs Ferris State on my ipad and Slovakia vs USA on my laptop screen...hope my boss doesn't walk in!

Demko with a big save there to keep us scoreless.

Factor of being a big guy there as his pad was in the right place at the right time.

d kind of got kind of caught flat footed.

I'll take it as a win if we're tied after 1 considering how flat we look after playing at 8 last night.

Didn't look aggressive at all.

Decent chance for US in final seconds with Larkin wrapping behind net but he couldn't get much on a centering pass to Fasching and the Slovaks did a good job of clogging things up in the crease once Larkin got behind the net.

you can tell US played yesterday. Taking a bit to get their legs under them this game but hopefully things will improve. I'll take being tied after one.

Is it "taking a bit to get their legs under them" or "taking Slovakia a bit too lightly"? To me it looks like the U.S. is not playing with near the intensity they did in their first two games.

I don't know if they are taking them lightly....they did just beat Finland...

More along the lines that they just played Germany less than 24 hours ago, and have to turn around and play another game. Perhaps endurance is slightly questionable? I was hoping during the 3rd period power plays yesterday that they'd just pass the perimeter and try to save energy for this game.
