2015 World Junior Championships

I'll go with Larkin as US Player of the game. Could be Milano too.

Gotta be Sheripov for Germany even though it's 5-0 now.

Larkin solidifies his POTG status with a 2nd goal to go along with his assist. Sheripov has to be Germany's player of the game even with the 6 goals. It could have been 12-0.

4-for-4 on Player of the Game predictions in US games. :)

Let's go USA tomorrow vs. Slovakia at 4! Give ourselves a shot at the no. 1 seed in the group for the Canada showdown.

Re: 2015 World Junior Championships

#23 Werenski will need to cut down on the number of mistakes he's making in his own end. Fortunately Germany wasn't talented enough to take advantage. Werenski did do a lot of good things offensively, however.

I would say Sheripov was the OVERALL player of the game in the losing effort...great performance by him. Germany has two legit goalies which is good to see.

Re: 2015 World Junior Championships

Finland lost to the USA in a shootout, and lost to Slovakia. I'm sure we'll probably be safe (I'm at least assuming they can beat Germany), but what is going to happen if Finland's hosting next year, and they get relegated?

I know this situation happened in the World Championships in 2009. Germany finished in a relegation spot but, since they were hosting in 2010, Austria (the next team up) was relegated instead.
