2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

Nina Rodgers makes it 4-0. Both teams have been sloppy in the second, and Brandt can't buy a goal right now.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

And now 5-1 on a Megan Wolfe goal. The Gophers' defensive zone play still looks shaky.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

After one period Cornell / RPI tied 0-0. Also after one period Colgate / Union tied 1-1.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

BC leads UConn 3-0 in the third. BC outshooting Huskies 47-14

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

Kendall Coyne tunes up for Four Nations with a hat trick in the third period at Merrimack as NU leads, 5-1.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

BC now up 4-0 with a couple minutes to go. Cornell still tied with RPI 0-0 in the second. Colgate and Union are 1-1 early in the second.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

BC wins 4-0 over the UConn Chuliskies. Shots were 63-15 which I think might be a program record for regulation shots.

EDIT: It's not... but top 3 or 4 all time anyway

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

Union now leading Colgate 2-1 after 2, despite being outshot 35-14. RPI and Cornell still tied 0-0 after 2 periods.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

Wisconsin extends lead over Mankato to 4-0 behind 2nd period goals by Drake and Jones.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

RPI beats Cornell 2-1 in overtime. Union and Colgate going to overtime at 2-2.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

Now I have got to wonder who were the two players who scored against Wisconsin this season, and what the heck happened? Was there point-shaving involved? Did ARD mistakenly leave the ice on a delayed penalty against the Badgers? How does this happen, exactly?

Likelihood of being rhetorical = 98.4%. That said, it's easy enough to find out. ;)

As for the how, you probably know better than I do.

RPI beats Cornell on a goal 17:34 into OT??????

Colgate outshoots Union 60 to 18 and ends up in a 2-2 tie. WOW!!!

:D. Rough afternoon for the scorekeeper I guess, as he/she also got the goals and assists totally wrong for RPI. Final score was right, 'though, so there's that .

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

The sport is rather strange right now. There is a lot of parity, except there are a lot of games this year where there isn't. Like Quinnipiac is up on Brown, 2-0, and outshooting the Bears 20-2 in the second.
