If that happens, you never get to that point where the bad bounce kills you.


Now had Bryz given up 5 or 6 and you lose by 1, then it's probably on the goalie.

Maybe I just have a different perspective, but I usually can find a breakdown (or three) before the shot that had it not happened would have prevented the goal. It's a team effort.

Yep, the Wild got some bounces too, they just couldn't finish on them. Pominville not being able to handle the bouncing puck in front of a wide open net, Fontaine not getting much on his rebound allowing Crawford to snag it. Midway through the third when Granlund clanked one off the post through traffic--that was a kick to the gut after all the missed chances :(:p

No one thought Gretzky would ever be traded. Not saying it will happen, but it's not impossible for the right package of players and draft picks.

Is he the best player in hockey today? I'm not even sure he's the Pens' best, I'd give that to Geno.

Quebec Athletic Club/Hamilton Tigers
Pittsburgh Pirates/Philadelphia Quakers
Ottawa Senators/St. Louis Eagles (4 Stanley Cups)
Montreal Maroons (2 Stanley Cups)
Brooklyn Americans

They were my favorite when Bure was there and they had the awesome uni's with the skate on the front. Now I can't stand them and I hate the uniforms.

Wasn't Gretzky more because Edmonton needed $$$?

Yeah, Pocklington needed the $$. Trading Crosby would be more akin to Calgary trading Iginla (ironically to the Pens) or the Flames shipping Nieuwendyk to Dallas (ironically for Iginla).

Crosby is nowhere near the end of his career, but the Pens would likely get more for him now than in a few years.

Worst bruins start in a game in a long time. they are trying too hard to dangle through 3 guys and losing every puck battle of the game.
