Frost may have thought that a) the Wisconsin forwards pressuring were more tired and needed the break more than the Gophers defending, or b) he didn't want to give the Wisconsin bench time to set up a play. Sometimes I like it when the coach stays out of the way and lets the kids on the ice take care of it. Minnesota spent some time during Thursday's practice defending against six skaters, so Frost may have thought that the Gophers were prepared for what was coming.
