So what you're saying is that you can't adapt to change, can't learn something new. The college I graduated from did a name change after I graduated; it took me about a week to get used to it.

Yes, I know about the Twin Cities news people. It's their job to get it right. Of course, all they care about is the Gophers.

I will say this, I'm almost shocked that Mel Pearson didn't win COY, but Hastings has once again done a fantastic job.

Alright, sounds like a full and healthy lineup is ready to hit the ice tonight! Last chance to really "fine tune" things for the Mavericks before the big stretch run. Need to improve the power play and refine everything defensively.. Keep it simple and be smart with the puck. Can't have the turnovers we saw last weekend.

All in all, it should be a sweep as the home crowd sends the Mavericks to Saint Paul. Let's hope the boys get the job done!

If they really wanted the "Minnesota State" thing to really catch on there, they should have changed the mascot to the Screaming Eagles.
 
Yea I was slightly disappointed with the attendance but It wasn't bad given spring break.

Good game for the Mavericks and the best thing was seeing JPL get going. If he starts to heat up that will only makes us that much better and he has always been deadly on the PP when he is scoring.

Old WCHA was always that way. CCHA bs has changed that to every game

A solid weekend of hockey for the Mavericks! Appears they got out healthy as well. I liked the dominance last night and a little tougher game to prep them for the rivalry(?) game with Ferris State. (Is FSU considered a rival yet? Or is Tech now a bigger one?)

Ferris State has a great goaltender and just did something the Mavs couldn't do last weekend sweeping the Beavers at home. Should be interesting.
 
Good series for the mavs. Ferris State game will be tough. They obviously have to win to extend their season but also they haven't beaten us in two years. Losing all 3 games last year and 4 this year will put a little extra jump in their step.
Also saw a website that says we are locked in at number 1 (16% chance) or number 2 in pairwise (84% chance). Can't go lower so now we also get to celebrate the schools first #1 seed.

What a great year.
