Congrats on your first MacNaughton Cup. I know my Lakers will have a very hard time beating you guys next weekend.

I didn't think this was possible! I have never been more proud in my 20 years as a Maverick fan!

Mike Hastings is a phenomenal Coach and hope he is here to stay!!

Great kids, great coach, shows how a program can turn around. Good luck boys, not only in the WCHA tourney, but more importantly the NCAA's.

Well step one is accomplished, now on to the playoffs. Id definitely like to see them take these next few games and improve the power play and rid themselves of those dumb mistakes (Fridays game was bad) before the next big step in the NCAAs. Thanks to Hastings and these guys making the NCAAs isn't enough now. We need to win and advance if we want continue to improve the programs prominence.

with the success that the team is having I would sure hope it helps them in landing some big recruits hopefully jake stays committed

The power play has to improve. Way too many moments where I was saying, "what the hell is going on?"

If anyone's interested, you can download or purchase a copy of the Mr. Hockey and Frank Brimsek Awards Ceremony at www.msbnsports.net. Very well done with some good stories from Doug Woog and Ryan Phelps interviewed all the candidates and some of their responses/stories were really, really funny.

When you go 3-0-1 against 2nd place, you certainly earned it. Congratulations. That is one frustrating team to play against. You're going to be handing out some migraines in the tournaments.

Exactly. With the talent we have a 5x3 has to be a goal, we want to make the frozen four we need that pp to be deadly. Sometimes I think we try to be to pretty with the puck especially with the Def players we have that have good heavy shots.

Also not to jinx us but if by chance we end up in south bend anyone making that trip?

I believe Chicago traded his rights to Sioux City.
