Harvard with a very good 2nd period and they lead 3-2 after 2 periods. Some ole defense from BC.
Awful turnover by Harvard led to BC 2nd goal. Also thought Machemayer should have made the save on the 2nd goal. All in all I think it has been a terrific game to watch.
It was a good snipe from Skarupa on the 2nd BC goal. Machemayer should have stopped the first BC goal, however.

I think BC fans will have some questions and comments about the officiating.

Not too much - should have been a two, not a five IMO
Mistake on the icing call at the end. (probably not a factor)
I thought the rest was pretty fair
I half expected the even-up call immediately after the Carpenter penalty on the first player for Harvard that came with two feet of an Eagle -- especially after the Crimson scored so early in the PP.I was thinking more of the 2 checking calls on Harvard that could have been 5 minutes based on what was called on Carpenter.
Seriously? Six power plays and you want to question the fairness of the officiating? For the record, Harvard had a five minute major called on one of our players on Saturday when Haley Mullins accidentally bumped a Brown player. Officiating is all over the map in the East and I don't think any team is getting any preferential treatment. We've had more than our fair share of calls go against us this year.
I would argue that Carpenter's check was more flagrant, with an obvious extra shove from the arm/elbow, but it still was not deserving of a 5...nor were either of the two Harvard checks.I'm not questioning it as I was more than happy to see "bc" defeated. Just thought it curious that Carpenter got 5 and 1 or 2 checking calls on Harvard could have been called 5 minutes.
