Brandt gets the only shootout goal...or so the officials say. Can't recall a review on a shootout attempt, myself.

The officials made the correct call by rule, as the puck has to be viewed in the net to be called good. However, Desbiens was in the net, except for her skate (the puck was not under her skate) at one point. Leveille made it academic.

At least we don't have to listen to any whining about bad bounces/calls. This is yet another argument against shootouts.

Cornell up on BU 2-0 after 1 with Jenner and Richardson scoring. Jenner's assist on Richardson's goal moves her to 200 career points.

Jess Brown extended Cornell's lead to 3-0 in the second.

Cornell over BU 6-2 final score. Emily Fulton (2) and O'Connor potted 3rd period goals to give Cornell a 6-0 lead. BU managed to get the final 2 goals of the game. Overall a very good effort for Cornell.

Cornell gets 6 goals on only 21 SOG. Poor goaltending or poor defense or a combination of both??? Which is it? Congrats to the Big Red. What a jeckel and hyde team. Tie the North Country and now a pasting of a good BU team. Hmmm. That other Boston team only beat them 4-3 ;) .

By far best team effort offensively and defensively I've seen from Cornell this season. I would not blame BU's goaltending for the goals. They were great plays by Cornell.

Cornell also played great defensively except for a short lapse late in the third after they had a 6 goal lead.

Geez, even BU is a cupcake.
