That was an ill-advised fake punt there, Dantonio. Especially inside your own 30.

MSU was on ABC and TCU/Baylor on ESPN2 in the Midwest. Now TCU/Baylor is on ABC and ESPN2... I don't see why they haven't flipped ESPN2 over to Michigan-Penn State like it's supposed to be.

CDC wants to minimize an outbreak?

TCU-Baylor is a complete trainwreck. No defense, penalties every other play, and it could go into OT. We might see a final score in the 80s.

That was actually a pretty cool, emotional scene at the end of the game in Starkville.

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

Yeah, Franklin. Use a timeout on 4th and 32 at your own 2.

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

Wow, Michigan with a couple gifts. First the intentional grounding where he might've been out of the pocket, and then the non-existent offsides on the onside kick.

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

He was not out of the pocket, on the replay. The tackle was lined up on the hashmark, which is roughly where Hackenberg released the ball.

Now, the call on the onside kick, on the other hand, was....uh....not good. Yeah. We'll go with "not good".

And if Gardner is seriously injured, Michigan isn't scoring again until 2015.

For those of you who watched jNW/MN, how was it? Good defense with crappy o? Decent game?

So are the Mississippi teams 1 and 2 in the next poll, with Auburn losing and FSU looking very blah so far this year.

They never showed the replays of either penalty at the game.

But some honesty here- even IF Penn State got those calls, it does not mean they would have scored. By that- I saw the game as a contest of two teams who's offenses were pretty ****ed anemic. Both teams had one good drive that turned into a TD. Well, one team did- our first drive was more a fortunate non-interception TD than an honest drive.

Still, after it looked as if PSU was going to walk all over the D, for some reason they turned things down.

It was a less than exciting game to attend.... The half time show was cool. :)
