Other than doing something criminal, I don't care about NCAA infractions.

If a kid did get money for autographs, good for him. Doesn't make me think less of him.

Except the NCAA has rules against those sort of things. If you don't like the rules change them. Until then, obey them.

I get there is rules for it and if he gets suspended that's fine. I just don't care much about it as it relates to the player.

He sold the autographs so he can buy some crab legs
That's a lot of trouble to go to for crab legs. It's a lot easier to just walk out of a grocery store with them and then pretend you forgot to pay and not get in any notable trouble.

But is it easier if the chosen way out of the store is to walk down literally every aisle in the store exactly once, like some weird traveling salesman logic puzzle? (http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoo...o-james-winston-leaving-publix-with-crab-legs)

I have my doubts they are educated enough to know better. They are athletes after all. :D
IIRC every athlete has to attend a compliance lecture. FBS schools have huge staffs devoted just to compliance.

I don't think ignorance can't be pleaded here.
