2014-15 Schedules

Re: 2014-15 Schedules

Plymouth State Schedule:

31-Oct @Norwich 7pm
4-Nov @Nichols 8pm
6-Nov @Salem* 7pm
13-Nov @Fitchburg* 7pm
15-Nov UMASS Dartmouth* 6pm
22-Nov Worcester* 6pm
4-Dec @Framingham* 7:40pm
6-Dec @Westfield* 5:35pm
12-Dec @NEC
13-Dec Castleton 6pm
2-Jan Trinity 6pm
3-Jan Babson 6pm
8-Jan Curry 6pm
10-Jan Salem* 6pm
15-Jan Fitchburg* 6pm
17-Jan @UMASS Dartmouth* 4:30pm
25-Jan @Worcester*4:30pm
29-Jan Framingham* 6pm
31-Jan Westfield* 6pm
5-Feb @Salem* 7pm
7-Feb @Fitchburg*
12-Feb UMASS Dartmouth* 6pm
19-Feb Worcester* 6pm
21-Feb @Framingham* 7:40pm
24-Feb Westfield* 6pm

-Interesting to note it looks like Plymouth will no longer play two games against D2 schools. Previously they've played SNHU and Stonehill every season. This year they've beefed up the Non-Conference schedule with 4 games vs the ECAC East (Babson, Castleton, NEC, Norwich), 2 vs ECAC NE (Curry, Nichols) and 1 NESCAC (Trinity).

Re: 2014-15 Schedules

BIG mistake scheduling their intrasquad scrimmage the same day they open the regular season against Adrian. ;)

Also assuming the last two of the three listed games vs. Concordia (MN) are actually against Concordia (WI).

How can a school's official website screw up that badly?

When it's Northland's. When you click the team name it takes you to that school's athletic site. The Concordia (MN) schedule is up, it wouldn't be that hard for the site admin to check and see if they are actually playing them.

Solid Non-Conference Schedule keeping travel to a minimum

Re: 2014-15 Schedules

Any news on whether or not teams can schedule an exhibition game before the start of the season that won't count against their 25-game total? I heard rumblings of this in the spring and never found anything concrete after the NCAA meetings were finished.

Yes you can. Oswego is playing the US 18U team the week prior to a Oct. 31.

Re: 2014-15 Schedules

Prez, that's correct but I believe it's an exception to the 25-game maximum if you're playing against an Olympic team, or a team that is affiliated with USA Hockey and their USNTDP. I saw somewhere on here that Platty is playing a Canadian University or something of that nature, which I'm not sure is the same thing or not. Very confusing to say the least and not much literature to back up any discussion that was happening early in the spring, so I would guess that it didn't get passed.
