This leaves Wisconsin two games short in NC. It also "completes" Ferris State's schedule, in quotes because they are one game short, although already at 38 games.

I know that was the case last year. Someone noticed that a bunch of B1G and HEA teams were playing and decided to market it. I was under the impression that the leagues were going to make it official this season but that is apparently not the case. Still, with so many games left to schedule I would expect OSU and PSU to schedule the remaining HEA schools.

I certainly do not want to see Maine/Vermont/UMass play non-conference games against each other again.

I think the bump up from 20 to 22 league games should help with this, dropping from 27 down to 20 seemed to catch some programs unprepared even though they all knew it was going to happen. I also love the extra Maine/UNH series in Manchester and Portland, I dream of BU and BC adding a 3rd game between the two at the Garden relatively early in the season that is part of both teams' season ticket package so that they already have 8-10k seats sold before tickets hit the market.

With 12 HE and 6 B1G teams I think most seasons all B1G will play a HE, but not all HE will play a B1G.

A member of the Quinnipiac thread is quoting the Hartford Courant as stating that Quinnipiac is pulling out of the Frozen holiday classic or UCONN tourney as you have it listed on the spreadsheet. Could not confirm on the Courant website, but the poster states it was seen in the print version.

Quinnipiac will be playing 2 at St. Cloud State in 2014-15 with the Huskies returning to Hamden in 2015-16.

Lowell is replacing Quinnipiac in the Frozen Holiday Classic.

Per this mornings hartford Courant, UConn opens the season with 2 at Penn State. Also the Colorado College game will be played at Bridgeport, and the Quinnipiac game which was scheduled for November 23, I think, might be cancelled as fall out for QU dropping out of the Frozen tourney over the holidays. I think there is a potential for real bad blood between UConn and Quinipiac going forward. This just adds to it.

Add that to the list of reasons I would have preferred QU over ND in Hockey East.

From what I've heard, NMU is still shopping around looking for a fifth non-conference opponent, IF they can get the schedules to align. Apparently there was some scheduling changes made by the Canadian universities, which caused the NCAA schools who usually book them to jumble their schedules also.

So there *may* be late scheduling additions made depending on everyone's completed schedule.
