We all pull for underdogs, and he's certainly not one, but I'm pulling for the Broncs to win it all this year. The guy wins with his work ethic and brains--old school in a world of uber athletic quarterbacks.

I wouldn't mind seeing Peyton get a 2nd ring. But as long as someone beats the Seahawks, I'm content.

I just hated Wayne because he embraced the "untouchable" superstar status in physical play. Mario would throw a hipcheck now and again. He got a little dirty at times. ;)

But Peyton? Never got the hate.

I, for one, don't really hate Peyton. But I do think that the entire Manning clan are a bunch of whiny dicks and have thought so since they bother and moaned to get Eli traded from the Chargers.

I agree with you on the Eli situation. Same with Elway, if my memory serves correctly.

Ask any Knicks fan why they hate Jordan. Different set of rules for him. I've got no beef with Manning. Does things the right way and is a class act.

If you want to see whiny, take a look at Ugg Boots Brady. :D

Anyone, but the Seachickens for me although the Niners are very delta bravoish.

The Panthers' D are a bunch of loudmouth hacks (and Cam's flop was historically bad; Robbie Earl even shook his head). And they are gone.

I was hoping for Colts vs Broncos and 49ers vs Seahawks. Colts vs Broncos has Luck advancing, and Luck facing Manning, both of which would be cool storylines. Brady vs Manning is still fun, but definitely rooting for the Broncos there. 49ers are the local team, so it's fun to see the local team do well, and of course I want to see Harbaugh win it all. Seahawks have Baldwin and Sherwin, so while I hate Carroll and Seattle fans are annoying at least those guys get to advance; plus 49ers vs Seahawks is a fun matchup in how much the teams hate each other now.

Hoping for Broncos vs 49ers now, as one can probably figure out from the previous paragraph.

I'll be pulling for a Denver-Seattle Super Bowl.

I have pretty strict playoff cheering guidelines that I follow: (in order from most cheered for to least)

1. Minnesota Vikings
2. Whoever will help Minnesota in the playoffs (i.e. getting to play at home vs. road, better matchup, etc.)
3. Whoever is playing Green Bay
4. Whoever is playing Chicago
5. Whoever is playing Dallas
6. Whoever has never won a Super Bowl (in order from oldest franchise to youngest)
7. Whoever has waited the longest to win another Super Bowl

Given that the first five criteria are not applicable, I'll root for Seattle (never won Super Bowl) over San Francisco, and I'll root for Denver (won in 1998) over New England (won in 2005).

I agree, Go Broncos. Although I didn't have a problem with Carolina but they lost anyway.

The reason for my Manning hate was that he simply won too much... I'm a Jaguars fan... When Manning was with the Colts, he was the hurdle the Jags could never overcome... We never could climb above the Colts in the standings... Also, I lived in Knoxville, TN for a year... He is treated like Jesus down there... That just pizzed me off more... It's hard to explain to most, but it's just a personal grudge... Nothing more, nothing less...

And speaking of bias, Seattle is only allowing fans from the "Pacific Northwest" to buy tickets to Sunday's game... If you are a fan in California or elsewhere, you are S.O.L... I understand the gripe of other fans on this, but I also like the idea of Seattle protecting their home field advantage/environment... Also happy that this can also help beat down the secondary market for tickets... I'm content with teams doing things like this...
