I was going to say, it's almost like a well-intentioned-but-just-as-stupid-and-potentially-still-a-little-bit-dangerous version of the Knockout Game.

I'm amazed at how good natured the opposing fans who got dunked on seemed to be! It seemed to be the Jets game, if that had been a Vikings-Packers, Packers-Bears or Vikings-Bears there would have been punches thrown without doubt.

If somebody had done that to me or one of my brothers, my brothers would have given those guys a very bad day. A couple of my brothers are the punch first ask questions later types. A lot of football fans are that way.

Backup in case they don't get Whisenhunt. Apparently they have competition for him, but it still looks like he's the clear favorite.

this has been happening for a while now but using the dolphins as an example....

offensive coordinator gets fired. and then the gm gets fired. we see it all the time now too where coaches are hired before the gm so it's like the coach gets to pick his gm. what happened to the days of the ownwr hiring a football guy as president/gm and then the gm hiring the coach who then assembles his staff?

The 'Fins and the Titans are also examples of another oddity, which is that the head coach is told to fire an OC and/or DC (the other choice being <i>you're,</i> fired, or the OC and/or DC is fired whether the HC wants to fire him or not (like what happened in Dallas last year, and may very well happen again). What happened to a team hiring a coach who then hires an OC and DC and rest of the coaching staff?

The only head coaching experience that I know of for Jay Guden was that he used to be the HC of the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League back in the late 90's. That was when the league was actually good.

Minnesota front runners to replace Leslie Frazier:
Ken Whisenhunt
Mike Zimmer
Darrell Bevell

As a Packer fan, I hope the Vikings don't pick Mike Zimmer. I think he's the best of that list.
