2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

Re: 2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

Mike Davis is clearly being a softie early. 1/3 of the field so far are even or better. C'mon man, we want mayhem!! ;)

Re: 2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

Website says he was born in N. Carolina and attended Texas Christian. What is his NoDak connection? Move there at a young age?

Actually born in Colorado and moved to Fargo shortly after he was born as his dad got transferred there for work.

I like what I see from the course and I like Fox's use of the drone and the shot tracker, but I can't say that I'm enamored of the Fox crew. Buck and Shark sure ain't Nance and Sir Nick or Hicks and Miller.

Bubba stomping like a kid who just had his candy bar taken away. Poor thing.

Oh god. It's Buck? I guess I'll pass on the US Open this year.

Edit: ok, checked it out on FS1 when I got home from work. It isn't Joe Buck that I hear, I can continue to watch, with volume on.

Chambers Bay looks like complete ****. And that's putting it lightly.

Tiger is 3 for 3 in bunkers hit in regulation. On a pace for +18.

Note: I'd love to be +18.

This is the US Open I've watched since playing a US open caliber course, I feel like I have a better understanding of their pain.

I love it. These pampered pro golfers are use to manicured courses. Nice to see the USGA throw em a bit of a curve ball for once. Going to make some great golf where no lead is safe.

I don't mind the outside the box thinking, or the odd course, I just think it looks ****ty, with the blotchy rough looking greens that are indistinguishable from the fairway. It looks like someone took a Toro out into a sheep pasture 2 weeks ago and mowed it down to about an eighth of an inch then ran a roller over it a few times and called it good. :p

I love the look of the sand and fescue, its mostly the greens that are ugly, probably because they haven't seen water in 2 weeks.

Awww, crap. Got back from dinner and now it is Joe Buck. I must have gotten lucky earlier and somehow missed him.

Jason Day might be royally screwed with this lie...

Watching the featured group while Tiger craps his pants again with Brando calling it makes me laugh

Re: 2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

That looked like a foursome at the local muni
Louis +7
Tiger +10
Ricky +11

Anything over 6,000 yards and I struggle to break 100. No length on the driver.

I like long courses. Longer is better. Length is all I have, well, I'm a decent putter too.

I'm hanging my hat on being pin high after 2 on the 18th at Erin Hills (green tees)

Unfortunately, my chip checked up, leaving me about a 12 foot birdie putt, which I left on the edge of the cup, for a tap in par.
