2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

Re: 2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

Sigh. Second day of Club championship today and did not hit one single fairway. Not one in 14 holes. I'm usually good off the tee, but just didn't have it. No fun having to rely on recovery shots and first putts all afternoon.

Good thing my wife's not home or I'd take a swing at her and she'd deck me.

Teeing it up at TCC today

Good work if you can get it ;)

Re: 2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

got to play the donald's new course today in the bronx. not bad at all. very good test with a lot of variety. long holes, short holes. not a tree on the course. some mounding built to give it a linksy feel but well done, not quirky and looks natural. windy as all hell down there. no protection whatsoever. nice new option for public golfers in nyc

Let me guess, 250 dollars, though it does sound good. I'm going to arizona/Utah/ nevada in january for a few rounds.
I decided that in order to get some shots out of my game, I would play nothing but par 3 courses for two months. it's helping.

it's not open yet and they've yet to set pricing. just zipped around with another guy today. the gm came down to open it up for us. great time.

Played the PSU White Course this morning from the tournament tees. Started par, par, birdie, birdie. I was walking solo and was going to text our GM to come out and witness my round, because no one would believe it. :)

Of course, then I took a 7 on the par three 5th.

Still, finished with 88 on a cold windy day so I won't complain.

Re: 2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

heading south on thursday. itinerary is coming together. so far have courses ranked #5 & #15 in GA and #s 2,7, and 15 in SC. may try to squeeze in one more, or maybe not....

Holy smokes! Tiger's short game looks worse than mine! Thursday was bad, today he's been awful. Finished with 82 --- 13 over par!

Worse round of his pro career. Never been a fan but he did speak to the media candidly. In the past after a bad round he would either leave course without speaking to the media or have short abrupt answers.

And now it appears his back has flared up... again. I'd guess it was from his 5 wood around the pine on #11 out of the rough.

The good news, is after a hideous approach with his wedge after that, he chipped in from the rough on a very difficult shot. Go figure

I really didn't think John Daly had a real chance of hanging in there after his opening round, but I was pulling for him. But nope.
