Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

So, the B1G, or at least Barry Alvarez, is saying they will no longer schedule FCS teams. How's this going to work out?

story
Gotta toughen up their schedules otherwise they'll continued to be called a weak conference.

Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

they need to schedule top notch non-conference opposition like the SEC does

The SEC states seem to like to play Idaho (LSU this year, Old Miss in '13, Florida in '14, and a bonus of ACC FSU in '13). I'd got to some B1G games to see the Vandals.

the bonus being that they are a BCS scool that's not quite as good as an FCS school.

OH MY STARS, STOP THE PRESSES, I HOPE YOU'RE SITTING DOWN WHEN YOU READ THIS, YOU WILL PASS OUT FROM THE DISBELIEF.

Auburn cheated.

Allegedly. Allegedly. Unless the prosecutor is totally ingnorant of SEC (and Southern) polictics, it will be almost impossible to prove guilt. After all, if Auburn is guilty, how far behind is Alabama??

Of course, they'll find all sorts of violations at Mississippi State. Or, better yet, Alabama A&M.

Wonder how in the hell the NCAA will blunder up this investigation? Can't believe they have any balls or teeth left after what Miami got away with. Simply put, they really need to drop the Death Penalty, or something **** near close to it to get schools to shape up and to play by the rules. **** Draconian shibby, like no home games, or limited number of home games for an X number of years.

Saban sees this...flinches just a little, won't be afraid of getting caught until Auburn is proven guilty..looking forward to a 13932 year investigation by the NCAA.

If true, Cam can kiss his Heisman good bye... Reggie Bush style.

And they paid the marketing experts how much?

How many SEC teams in the semifinals?

They probably came up with it in 10 minutes and then went to squeeze in a few rounds on the links that they counted as "research and development."

And the rich get richer.

And the NCAA becomes more and more irrelevant..

How much you want to bet we'll see 1-AA in all the major sports in the next 10 years?
From that article you linked:
This is not a regional network. We understand that in the 11-state footprint is where the most passionate fans are, but there are a lot of SEC fans in California and Texas and New York and Connecticut and Virginia and Nebraska.
They do realize that Texas is in their footprint now, right?
