I'm excited...although our recruiting class isn't exactly stellar. Same can be said for you guys French, which is surprising, but also last year's class was a big one and not exactly tons of holes to fill on the recruiting front.

Yeah between the size of last year's class and what we got, we honestly don't need a killer one this year. Our big needs are for WR/TE and we got a couple of decent 3/4 stars for each, so we've done OK there. Still a few others to come down to the wire on Wednesday, so to pick up a couple there would be a nice cap on the year.

It makes me sick to see some of the things people tweet at recruits. These are high school kids trying to decide what's best for their future. Leave them alone.
I wonder how many people are donors to the schools? That would be a recruiting violation, and against NCAA rules.

Sounds like USC had at least 3 more de-commits in the last 48 hours...while they always have plenty of talent, it is interesting to see so many kids changing their minds. Eddie Vanderdoes has yet to announce, he has already decommitted but always could reverse that. The recent wave probably wont help USC in that regard. Ole Miss gets the #1 undecided player in the country...I think it would be nice if a school like Ole Miss was more of a contender in the SEC. the accusations that they are doing something fishy are numerous....can't tell if they are just rivals taking swipes or not.

Conventional wisdom is that USC is far in the rearview mirror for EV, and he'll be picking between UCLA, ND, and Alabama today (with the recruiting folks currently favoring ND).

It does give high school kids a chance to be in the spotlight and really live their dreams, though.
It's usually fairly uneventful as an Iowa fan. Surprises are usually bad news, not good.
It was ND. Big catch for them, they snagged the #3 class on most boards.
Penn State did ok given their issues. Ole Miss had a great year, getting the #1 defensive and #1 offensive players. USC had the aforementioned bomb. Michigan and Ohio State had good years. A&M had a good class.
BC, not so much, 91st...below UAB and Western Kentucky.

Real nicely for season ticket holders like me.
HATED those games and rarely, if ever attended. Still had to pay for them though.
Heard that they will most likely realign based upon Geography which is also outstanding for UW. Should be in a division with Iowa, Nebraska & Minnesota, which makes perfect sense.
Speaking of Minny, aren't they trying to schedule more FCS schools, not less? Didn't they just cancel UNC for some JUCO? Nancy-pants...
