What the heck was Dallas doing on that last drive? Terrible defense (except for Lee.) They force four turnovers and still lose.
What Stafford did redeemed himself from that lousy read on the Lee 2nd pick. Dallas had done nothing on offense up until that point and it was a gift. That drive could have put Dallas away if he would have read Lee sliding into the gap.
What CJ did separates any talk about who is better than him in this league right now. I hope he wins a ring someday, whether in Detroit or elsewhere.
Now, a much needed bye... then:
@ Chicago- 50-50 game, but the Bears are without many of their impact players on defense. A win could put the Bears out of the playoff picture.
@Pittsburgh- no matter how bad they are, it's there and the Lions have never beaten Pittsburgh in my life that I remember.
Tampa Bay- Man, this is a trap game they really need right before Thanksgiving. Worse yet, if Tampa is still winless...
GreenBay -on Thanksgiving- the short turnaround might not help the Lions, but I don't expect much anyway. Rodgers may go wild on turducken.
@Philadelphia- won there last season. Probably another must win game.
Ravens- outside of Green Bay, probably the best team they'll play down the stretch.
NY Giants- I personally want this one just to shove it up a certain Detroit sports radio personalitie's glutumos maximus
@Minnesota- wouldn't it be fitting that the Lions would *need* to win this game to make the playoffs- against a franchise that loves to make Detroit cry?
Lions need at least 5 of their last 8 and will be battling Arizona, Carolina and Chicago for the 6th playoff spot in the NFC.

McCown looked like a decent back-up to me, but Cutler says he is playing Sunday.
This is a make or break game for the Lions. Can do some real divisional damage- and IF Rodgers is out for Thanksgiving, it puts a whole new emphasis on winning this game.

They better win the North. Might not make the playoffs, otherwise. Gotta win 10 games, period... and with a reasonable schedule it is possible.
Dallas or Philly wins the East-possibly with a 9-7 record. I think the loser is out of the playoffs. GB, Chicago or Detroit could win the North. New Orleans or Carolina will win the South, with either a WC. The #2 seed could be between the North and South divison winners.
Seattle is a lock in the West and the NFC #1 seed. SF is in a dogflight to win the other WC with the North 2nd place finisher or Arizona.
That's how it looks with 7 games left. I wouldn't make the cake yet, but I'd be buying the ingredients.
