Here are Utica's nonconference opponents. Had em written down, but lost my copy of the schedule:

Brockport (home and home), Morrisville, Connecticut College, Salve, Oswego, WNEC, Hamilton, and 2 games at the Oswego Pathfinder Classic.

Oh yeah, and a December exhibition game with the USNTDP 18u club.... which as of right now will be the 2013 New York SASH teddy bear toss!

I'm not sure whats more unimpressive. Take Oswego out and the there are ZERO teams that finished in the top 3 of their league, and even the Lakers this year won't be the dominant Laker team we are used to. Only WNEC (4) and Salve (5) finished Top 5 (in the NE of all places). They have an overall combined Win % of .344%.....Average conference finish of (7). All but 1 (ONE) NC game a true road game. No Cortland (0-5 loss in Cortland last year) go figure, but I guess that was more expected with Utica...

Utica will be playing Stout in the first round of the Pathfinder, so that makes your stats even worse... (Stout finished last in the NCHA last year, but their pct. was above the .344 combined you list above.) However, Utica will then play either Curry (3rd, but in NE) or Oswego, slightly improving those stats.

It doesn't matter anyway. That movie always ends the same way....great beginning, hangs in there during the middle and then a terrible ending !!

I count 13. Nobody has any idea where early rounds of the Harris Cup will be played right now.

Edit: I guess it's 15 if you count the two games on neutral ice in Appleton against the MIAC schools (which is pretty darn close to Marian.)

I get 9 home, 16 away from home. Plus postseason.

Zero non-con home games.

They don't have a "home" arena. They play in a community rink, IIRC. Two years ago they had to move the Marian-Adrian series to Sunday-Monday, due to there being a beer league tournament or something already booked that weekend. No, I'm not joking.

Has there been any word where M-ville is playing their home games? Last I heard Playland is still in limbo and Stamford said no to them playing full time due to an already pretty full schedule of HS and Youth hockey.
