I doubt that there will be an across the board consensus on where the teams near the top should be ranked. Cornell could get some support for the second spot, but so could teams like North Dakota, BC, Clarkson, and Wisconsin. Of those teams that have played, only Minnesota, Cornell and Quinnipiac are unbeaten, and the Big Red have only played once so far and "Q" has a tie and has played all lower-ranked teams. The rankings should be shaken up, and it will take more results for them to start to converge again.

Dartmouth took the early lead at Boston College 1-0. After one period shots are tied at 5.

BC storms back after falling behind 1-2 in the second to score six straight for a decisive 7-2 win.

The first game of the day has pulled off a slight stunner...

Despite being outshot 40-21 and trailing 2-0 after one period, Connecticut defeated RPI, 3-2 in overtime. Kayla Campero scored 3:44 into the extra session. Huskies goaltender Sarah Moses made 38 saves, including 6 in the overtime.

Cornell up on Clarkson 3-1 after one. Clarkson definitely had the territorial advantage with a 15-7 shot advantage (though most of Clarkson's shots were not quality scoring chances), but Clarkson managed to score their first goal on themselves to give Cornell a 1-0 lead. Emily Fulton has 1 goal and 2 assists, Saulnier 2 goals and Campbell 2 assists.

Cornell up on Clarkson 4-2 after two. It was a penalty filled period, including a 5 minute major on Cornell. Clarkson was able to score once on the ensuing power play.

Cornell over Clarkson 6-3 final score. Slebodnick now the goalie with the most wins in Cornell women's hockey history.

BC down 1-0 after 1 despite outshooting Syracuse 15-5. Sloppy first 3-4 minutes or so but it was a dominant rest of the period for BC.

EDIT: Not sure if anyone has ever listened to the Syracuse radio feed but oh my God this guy is the most obnoxious announcer I've ever heard. Little floater shots from the blue line apparently deserve a blood-curdling scream.

I've also learned that BC has the following players on its roster:

-Emily Fazer
-Taylor Waysick
-Emily Mankey
-Andie Anna-Toes
-Danna Trah-vig-no
-Kristen Ca-PAH-zo

Impressive level of ineptitude out of this guy.
