Almost a scoreless tie after regulation in Duluth...except that BSU on a power play with 15 seconds left in the game roofed one over Black's shoulder. The puck hit the bottom of Black's water bottle and instantly came out while the water bottle rocketed up into the air (somewhat looking like the puck) with some BSU players celebrating but no goal was called. Play continued until the final buzzer after which the play was reviewed and the proper call made...goal for BSU.
The 15 seconds were put back on the clock for the ensuing face off with UMD having 6 skaters but it was not to be.
BSU 1 - UMD 0 final.
SOG UMD 39 - BSU 14!!!
Strange but interesting ending to the game.

Here's one I like:
At All-Seasons Arena in Mankato, MSU 2, Ohio State 1 with attendance of 224.
About 15 minutes north and a Division lower in Saint Peter, Gustavus Adolphus 4, Hamline 1 with attendance of 251.
I also note from the Gustavus box score that the Gusties seem to have a LOT of former Ponies and that they are now using Marissa Brandt on D.
Here's one I like:

are the Beavers for real?
with 2 games in hand, they could be tied for third place
Wisconsin up by 1 in the 3rd
so I guess if they go on to win, the Beavers would be at best 4th

It would seem they are more for real with Mowat in charge of the crease. Seems to be a very capable goaltender.

Still 4-1 after two, but the Gophers hold a commanding 45-8 in shots on goal.
