And Brown. Having seen both teams twice this year, I think they are equal overall (though of course completely different types).

Agreed. Please beat Union this weekend for us.

One BCHL game tonight that is a final with two of our recruits. Surrey tops Chilliwack 7-6. Jonah Renouf had 2 goals and 1 assist and Nathan Renouf had 3 assists. Jonah takes over the team scoring lead at 56 points. He missed 6 games with I believe was likely a concussion. 18 goals and 38 assists on the season. Nathan on the other hand missed 18 games this season with an undisclosed reason/injury but has 45 points in 34 games with 14 goals and 31 assists. Pro-rate that to a full season and he is easily in the top 5 in the BCHL in scoring and we'd easily have 4 of the top 10 scorers in the league. As it is now we have 4 of the top 15 in the Pieper brothers, Jonah Renouf and Landon Smith.

Scary when you think about them on the same line next year! :)

K

If Peca comes back then a number 1 line of Peca, Landon Smith and Sam Anas is going to be deadly.

I have no reason to think that he won't. My hope would be for him to return and have a monster year! ;)
He said yesterday in the weekly news conference he will absolutely be coming back

That is huge. While the Jones, Jones, Anas line has been really good I honestly think a line of Peca centering Landon Smith and Sam Anas could be even better. But lets enjoy this season first before what the future will hold.

We'll do our best. We've actually played them very well the last few seasons. I think we know their game... since it's ours. :)

I had a really nice conversation with his parents in Pittsburgh and they gave me the impression that their wish was for him to make sure he got an education (IIRC his mom is a teacher). Dad was willing to let him go if the right offer came along but still wanted the diploma.

Peca was one of the best Bobcats on the ice this past weekend. His goals were the direct result of hard work and determination. I like to joke about how good he'd really be if he could stay on his skates! ;)

Would certainly be entertaining!

Exactly... we're not done yet. Lot's of hockey left to play.

Today's public service announcement:

BEAT YALE!

Is it OK to come out? Have the SLU fans left the discussion, yet?

BEAT YALE

SLU has the Q's number it seems. Should be a great game Friday, Yale is finally getting healthy, with the exception of Carson Cooper. I would get there early with this mess outside. Mayor Harp declared a state of emergency in New Haven, so who know's what that means for parking.

State of emergency! Back in my day we'd walk up York Hill both ways in 40 inches of snow. Kidding ... Sort of. Crazy week at work with the storm and the boss out of the office. I just wanted to say BEAT BROWN!

BEAT YALE.

I'm still hoping to make the trip south tomorrow to Brown and I am all set for next weekend! Have fun tonight everyone including LTsatch.

There should be a good number of Quinnipiac fans at the Brown game tomorrow. I will be there with my wife and daughter.
