But we've owned them recently (4-0). Princeton was always good under Gadowsky but have been a bit sub-par since he left. They definitely shouldn't be taken lightly, but I do like our chances.

Important weekend for us to get 4 points.

Providence fan here. Will be back in CT for thanksgiving and want to get to see the Friars down in Hamden. Do you think I should call in ahead of time to get tickets? I know a lot of students wont be there it will be a top 5 matchup (this weekend results pending). Just wondering. thanks in advance

With students on break its likely not going to be a sellout. Call to see what is available but you should be able to buy them on game day.

Buy them through PC and you don't have to pay service charges!

Call the Providence ticket office and ask. They may not sell away games online.

Just got my tickets through providence and they have a bunch left if anyone needs some. Haven't been down there in a while. Any new local food stops or bars to go to before puck drop?

Depends what you're looking for.

I always default to Sidestreet, which is right off the highway. It's a pretty standard college town bar but the food is very good.

Same...they have the best wings around and real good burgers.

Hoping for a 4-pt weekend starting tonight in Princeton. Princeton appears to be struggling but we simply cannot overlook them. Two big games this weekend before the barn-burner on Wednesday. Come out swinging boys!

I haven't been to Sidestreet in ages... probably because I am old guy and don't pregame like you kids do! ;)

Solid road win over Princeton tonight. 2 more points. Garteig with his 3rd shutout. Let's get that sweep tomorrow night.

Wow! Impressive performance and Kellen Jones joins the 100 point club! Three absolutely beautiful goals... KJ, JST, and Anas. Garteig pitches a shutout and they killed off 3:48 of a major to end the game.

I wonder if Connor Clifton gets scratched when Tolks returns? He took a couple of stupid penalties tonight, including the major. He has great skills, just a bit hot-headed at times.

Good road win. Bring on the Tigers, part II, tomorrow.

I can't see him benching Clifton. Just way too talented to bench even after a stupid penalty. He didn't bench Kellen Jones for his stupid penalty and ejection last week against Harvard. I know he is a senior and an assistant captain but an ejection is still an ejection. I definitely want Clifton to stay in the lineup when Tolks returns with Sherbinin returning to a healthy scratch.

Last night was Connor's 2nd major, and he's taken several dumb penalties at inopportune times (leads the team by far with 48 PIM). With less than 4 minutes to play with a 3-0 lead, there was no need to be as aggressive as he was. He also took a roughing minor in the 2nd. Granted, that was a case where both players should have gone (Kotsy called it a "rock 'em sock 'em robots" display).

I'm not saying I want to see him benched as he is very talented, but at some point he's going to cost us if he doesn't settle down. I'm sure Rand isn't going to tolerate "dumb" stuff forever. In the past, he's benched guys for missing meetings, and I recall Dalhsy getting scratched a couple of times for stupid stuff on the ice, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.

As for tonight, they need to continue where they left off last night. I'd like to see a little more scoring with the amount of offensive power this team has as there were just too many missed opportunities at Princeton. Defensively they've been great, and Garteig has found a groove.

I hate to look ahead, but they need to build their confidence going into Wednesday's tilt against arguably the best team they've faced thus far.

Bobcats 2 Princeton 1 after the 2nd.

Bobcats seem to be falling into that "play down to the other team's level" trap.
Whatever Rand said to them after the first he needs to repeat a little louder. :)
