I agree. Never trusted a Western Canadian and I don't plan on ever doing so.
That is as long as you aren't a Vancouver Whitecaps fan. Go Timbers.
Hahahahaha! Sorry Larson, I AM a WhiteCaps fan!!! Most Saturday mornings I'll be up early enough to watch
the English Premier League games also. I'm a Spurs fan with the Gunners a close 2nd.

I have been predicting for years if the WhiteCaps become a MLS powerhouse they will out draw our football team
at BC Place! As it is they regularly sell out the bottom bowl at 30,000+.

To tell you the truth, Mark, I would rather not to say. Let's just say I have a small personal interest in the Bobcats.
I can respect that. You've provided some great insight and comic relief so keep up the good work. Glad to have you here! ;)

Hartzell back up to Scranton

Re: 2013-14 Quinnipiac Bobcats: New season, new scoreboards, new chance at redemption

Who? ;)

Garteig nails down his 3rd ECAC Goalie of the Week award!
:D

I knew Garteig was going to be a good one but I had never met him. You never know when a kid is going to be a primadonna.
Then I saw that interview he did late last year. He spoke so highly of Hartzell and hoped he had done his bit to keep Hartzell sharp.
I knew at that point Garteig was a true "team player". I did NOT see him coming out of the gate like this though!
It's like Hartzell never left. :)

They should give the award to the entire Q team for laying down in front of him so much. His GAA is more a matter of team defense than his personal skill, nothing against the lad, but his save percentage is only fifth in the league. He just does not see the amount of shots an average ECAC goalie sees, he is averaging 18 saves a game.

Garteig was on that Penticton Vees team when they went 42-0-2. I remember seeing stats for one of the months.
He had something ridiculous like a .978 save % and 1.08 GAA. They were a truly mind blowing team.

This is weird but College Hockey News has Jason Stephanik as a recruit for 2014 on their roster/recruit page but College Hockey Inc. does not. Either he isn't coming at all in the future or deferred until 2014 which is entirely possible. College Hockey News also shows Nelson Gadoury as a recruit for 2014 while College Hockey Inc. does not. However at the alumni event Bill Riga said they had 8 players committed for 2014 which I thought was strange as College Hockey Inc. had only 6. I'm wondering if Stephanik and Gadoury are the other 2. This was all before Vince Pedrie committed this week.

Eliteprospects has him listed at 14-15 Quinnipiac.

Rand will let Stephanik back if he stops acting up is what I heard. Rand knew very well before Stephanik stepped foot on campus he had some off the ice issues. Rand took a chance and ended up sending him back home for another year. We'll see what he decides

So basically that means Rand said grow up and play another year of junior hockey and we will defer you until the 2014 season if you still want to come?

Yes except I don't think its Stephanik's decision. Rand's saying clean up your act then we'll let you come back
