No kidding. The call is awful -- on both audio feeds. Stop whining that your team didn't get the calls. Brutal.

Lucky to emerge out of that garbage fire with a point.
Absolutely awful in the first 30 minutes. They played a 35-minute hockey game, and had no business winning it, much less getting a point.
No ome competed in that first period. They were all gliding around like it was a Sunday skate in the park. Awful. Need to be better than that.
Last 35 minutes were fine, they did a nice job to chip away. But, my goodness ... you can't come out like that to start a game in this league.
Oh, and I love the face they fire shots from all angles. But, are they going to hit the net, at any point? I'm just asking.

Thanks for the link, Ralph Baer. Hopped on just in time for OT. Enjoyed listening to the announcers trying out for the Penguins' ROOT Sports team.

I'll take the tie, but man... they were flat tonight. Nice to see them battle back from 2 down to tie it, then again late in the game. Really nice goals by Anas and Peca. Tolks had a blast as well.
Rest up and take it to Union tomorrow.

Brutal period of a half. Defense looked slow and lazy at times. At least they didn't lose and got 1 point to show but they need a much better effort.

Think it's worth pointing out JST. Thought he chugged all night and kept the puck in RPI's zone. Garteig had some amazing saves but like stated, no energy to start. Defense has looked a little out of sorts since Princeton. Gotta get a win to get to the break to regroup

Maybe I'm just bitter because it looked like another game we could have won if we played our game. One good thing was the fact that we stayed out of the box. Only took 2 penalties and 1 of those was suspect at best (Connor Jones called for charging when he was clearly pushed into Diebold).
Much like Providence, we salvaged a tie from a win. It's going to take a much better all-around effort tonight at Union.
Through the last 4 games I gave them some lee way because of all the reports of flu and other ills combined with the Thanksgiving break and a mid-week game. Even the UMass blowout wasn't the same compete level we saw earlier in the season. But they had a full week to rest and prepare for this weekend and there was definitely something missing, and on both ends of the ice. Garteig played well but that 2nd goal was clearly on him as his attempt to sweep the puck away turned into a very fortunate bounce for RPI.
Unfortunately his puck handling (or lack thereof) almost cost us a few times. He does that one-armed long reach thing but can't seem to retain possession of the puck for long. I think teams have keyed on that. He also shanked on what appeared to be a great look at the net during the last PP and RPI almost broke it for an odd man rush.

Still bitter... we left a point on the ice last night. Nothing can be done about that now so I hope they can take it to Union tonight. The Dutchmen are hot right now riding a 6 game winning streak. It's going to take a solid effort all around, and we know they're capable. Last game before the long holiday break... time to lace 'em up and take 2 points.

Ugh... another uninspired performance. For whatever reason, they just couldn't get any sustained offensive pressure. Garteig looked human... clearly wasn't seeing the puck well.
Maybe the break will be a good thing...
