The conservatives on here defend the current D-3 system as though it constitutes Mom and apple pie all rolled into one, while the progressives are deafening in their silence, for fear of offending anyone.

It smells exactly like a microcosm of American politics, if you ask me, excepting that nobody on the D-3 committee took away my God-given right to visit a National Park last week!

That one is on the delusional House Republicans, and while I'm a registered Independent and vote both ways, I'm pretty pizzed at the GOP right now, and not just because they ruined my trip to the beach.

You're assuming he is smart enough to know the difference - I wouldn't make that assumption - fish is good at spewing words he overhears at the tackle shop, but that doesn't mean he comprehends them :(

are any teams paying a exhibition b4 there 1st game,besides inter-squad?? I dont see any,or does the new date/rule mean no wy?

Exhibitions are unfortunately out this year because an oversight in the legislation. Hopefully in 2014-15 this will be changed. It is being voted on this year I know to change the legislation to allow exhibitions against other opponents before Nov. 1.

Canton at Hamilton on November 9th is an exhibition. Canton has games before then, but Hamilton isn't supposed to play official games before NESCAC opening (November 15th), so the 'Roos were asked to take the game off their schedule. Only place it is listed is here at USCHO.

Revisionist history, the game is part of Canton's road trip to Fredonia. The transportation for this is part of the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley (ACSLV)- Bus Transportation Contract.

What, pray tell, is revisionist about it? The SUNY-Canton Athletics department said they were asked to take the listing off their schedule.

An organized game against a team from an American 4-year Institution counts against your limit of 25 games no matter what, according to the NCAA, which is why the Dartmouth exhibition has counted against the limit for Norwich the last few years... So, whatever Hamilton wants to call it, if they get on the ice with Canton, it's a game.
