While I'm frustrated that the Wings continue to lose in OT/SO, I'm surprised that the Detroit Griffins aren't getting blown out. They keep treading water with all the injuries.

In coordination with NBC, Team USA announced @ Winter Classic. Canada is around that date. In any event, final rosters due January 7.

i dont care how cold it is, the ice is never good for these outdoor games. and frankly, they are generally boring affairs.

Washington is supposedly getting the Winter Classic next year... Can't say I'm a fan... Would much rather see it in Minnesota or Denver before instead of Washington... But then again, we're getting to the point where we're running out of new places to go to with the criteria that has been set...

I agree was hoping for Minnesota or Denver. I bet those two cities are next to host though.

What really stinks is it's probably going to be Washington vs. Pitt again.
I don't see who else logically makes sense for washington to play except for maybe NYR but seeing as they were in it last time I doubt they get into it again so quickly. Plus I'm sure the NHL would like to have NY host one soon.

I agree that it should be in Minny and I can get behind Colorado too.

If they do the stadium series again, there will be more locations and maybe they'll be included.

Not supposedly, is. It will be a flipping disaster. That organization can't run a marketing department to save their lives. They expect us locals to bow down before them because they are the Capitals.
