Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

You mean like when he was in Pennsylvania, the Keystone State, and started talking about how the Keystone pipeline would come through Pennsylvania?

So will this pipeline pump Keystone Light throughout America? I'm excited for the PBR Pipeline. Hopefully they can just hook up a hose straight into my house.

Obama has been blocking the Keystone pipeline, so he'll probably block the PBR pipeline also. Which will probably tip the election against him and then Romney will approve both pipelines.

Any pipelines running from Milwaukee? ;)

Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

I will stick with whiskey/bourbon/scotch...more bark for my bite :D

I do love when I am working though and hipster ******s get PBR and pay through the nose for a tallboy. Something so right about fleecing those nozzles :D

Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

My lord...you guys have terrible taste in beer :p

I just figured since we were talking a major pipeline, then I would stick to the major beers.

I'll gladly take my own pipeline from the O'Dells and New Belgium breweries in Fort Collins. Might as well throw in Gritty's in Portland, ME for a little east coast flavor.

I'd actually take an Otter Creek pipeline out of Middlebury.

Pfft, like they have fresh-brewed their stuff in the last 20 years.
I'm thinking back further than 20 years. Haven't seen any of the stand alone A&W restaurants for a real long time. Saw one maybe 10 years ago somewhere in small town Minnesota north of the Cities, but not since. Those ones they tuck in with KFC or Taco Bell or whatever don't count.

There's still a standalone A&W that I pass in Cortland when going to that place with the awful smell to the south and slightly west.

Same timeframe here. Don't think I've seen on in Mass since the early 90's. Must be Clinton's fault! ;) I did see one somewhere like maybe rural Maine or something this year. Could have been rural Georgia too....can't remember.

They've been building A&W places around here, but they're always part of those dual-purposed restaurants. The ones around my house have been A&W combined with KFC. Yum Brands must own A&W now.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

Did anyone see Obama on Leno last night?

Supposedly he said, when discussing his daughter's homework assignments: "The math stuff was fine up until about seventh grade. Malia is now a freshman in high school. I’m pretty lost.”

I'm curious as to whether someone is making that up or if anyone actually heard him say that.

What's wrong with that? I can't do all the math that my daughter is doing now in 8th grade. I certainly can't do most of the stuff that my 17 year old is doing.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

What's wrong with [the President saying he can't understand algebra]?

Seriously?

Now his inability to submit a budget becomes clear......now we understand how he thinks a few extra billion of incremental tax revenue will somehow "pay for" a trillion-dollar budget deficit. He simply can't figure out where the commas and decimal points should go!

and naturally you are okay with that, eh?

There's an old-school drive-up A&W in Michigan about 20 mins. from my house. Only open in the summer for obvious reasons.
