You're right it is different, Blood was hit with a cheap shot from behind after the game had ended form a player that ran and hid, thus sending him into a fury which ended up being misdirected at an uninvolved player. Hansen, unprovoked, used a weapon to slash and cross check to the face of an opponent with intent to injure. they are the same in that it is something that is unacceptable from a captain or assistant captain of your team. Both players had spent the same number of years in their organization but we are told that rodent players are so much more saintly and Lucia doesn’t stand for that. What I can’t stand is the same people spout labels of goon and thug for a whole team about that situation are dismissing the actions last night as “not what our program does”. If it not what your program does and Donny boy is such a gentlemen why didn’t he sit Hansen down after that bush league bullcrap? I guess it’s pointless to argue your hypocrisy though….
