Don't have a crystal ball, but I'm real curious how well everybody is going to coalesce around Romney once he's the nominee. Simply put, people just don't like the guy. While I agree the Limbaugh crowd will get behind him, I'm not so sure about the Santorum nutters. I don't believe Romney has any sort of cushion in this election, so he's going to need every vote he can get. I can easily picture the hard core fuddies saying "Kenyan vs Mormon - I'm a sittin' this one out".

Is there any polling in Maine? I'm curious to know what kind of support King is starting with. Knowing that would make it easier to decide what I hope the Dems do.

Speaking as a Maine Democrat, I hope they endorse King. For one, he's going to be twice as smart as anyone else in the race and I generally like voting for smart people.
