Re: 2012 Elections: Corndogs for everyone!

The world you create for yourself and then rail against is amusing, but bears little resemblence to reality. The gist of Clarence "Long John Silver" Thomas' problem is that as a judge how could you expect a sexual harasser to rule impartially on issues affecting women that come before him? Obviously given his p ! ss poor tenure in the SCOTUS, those fears turned out to be correct. Your whole fixation on boss-underling dynamics is stupid. How many times do underlings sexually harass their bosses? Has that ever happened? In reality I mean, not in the fantasyland that exists only in your mind.

Now, lets add up the tally of the people you've tried to latch onto in this campaign:

Cain: sexual harrassment
Romney: Hiring illegal aliens
Perry: Racism (nice name for his ranch, but I'm sure he too didn't realize the name of the place he owned)
Bachmann: hell, where do you even start with her?
Gingrich: Serial adultry.

Geez, is this the GOP candidates for President or a bunch of people running in a local election in Louisiana? I thought this was the "family values" party? Looks like they all didn't get the memo.

In law, I believe this is known as the Gerry Studds defense. Your partisanship is so comprehensive, you've lost whatever ability you may have had to use critical thinking. None of this bluster has anything to do with the point I was making. And you must have been out of the room during the Hill/Thomas hearings, and missed the daily lectures from feminists and libtards about what the "issue" was in that instance. Denying the fundamental issue involved in that dustup shows either dishonesty or significant intellectual shortcomings. And who, for God's sake, said anything about underlings sexually harrassing bosses? That's just stupid. BTW, it's "Long D*ng Silver."

You really ought to consider applying the "first rule of holes" here. General Wenck is not coming to your rescue.

Ah, another shining moment for Arizona. Gov. Brewer and the GOP dominated Senate are attempting to kickout the independent chairwoman of the Independent Redistricting Commission.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/02/us/chairwoman-of-arizona-redistricting-commission-ousted.html

This is funny...

Arizona voters decided in 2000 that a citizens’ commission of two Republicans, two Democrats and an independent chairman would draw political lines and that commissioners could be removed only for “substantial neglect of duty, gross misconduct in office or inability to discharge the duties of office.”

On Tuesday, the governor was out of the state promoting her new memoir, “Scorpions for Breakfast: My Fight Against Special Interests, Liberal Media and Cynical Politicos to Secure America’s Border,” so Secretary of State Ken Bennett, the acting governor, called senators into a special session at her request.

It's one thing if she wants to examine the chairwoman's record, but Gov. Brewer can't be bothered to do the job herself because she's busy selling books? C'mon now...

Wait...which candidate is Captain Flip-Flop? They all qualify for that title...

No one does it like Romney. Romney doesn't have one single conviction to point to.

And I see the outrage of the day is some sexual double standard. Obviously he isn't familiar with David Vitter and Anthony Weiner. When he does get back to us, otherwise go away.

Re: 2012 Elections: Corndogs for everyone!

My favorite part of the Brewer thing is the state she's from. Arizona is a sh ! thole state with sky high unemployment, an economy that revolves around crystal meth (its the meth capital of the US), speculative housing, and coyotes transporting illegals across the border. In the wake of all this, the ol' sea hag decided that usurping the will of the people, who voted for the set up of an independent commission to draw the new districts, is the state's top priority. Of course, this is the same woman who claimed her father died fighting the Nazis when he died sometime in the 1950's....

Bottom line is, this is what you get when you elect Republicans. Bitter, lingering fights over issues that have nothing to do with improving the lives of their citizens. Very similar to the Wisconsin debacle. As this doesn't affect me I find it all amusing, but you really need to think twice before voting for knuckledraggers. How many times do they have to screw up before people get the message?

Old Pio, I don't think you have a coherent point except for something about missing a candidate like David Duke so I'm going to revisit this when more info comes down the pike regarding Herm's inappropriate behavior in the office. Shouldn't be too long of a wait.... ;)

Nothing in the future will explain or vindicate your dishonest or stupid refusal to acknowledge the double standard I've explained to you now several times. Shame on you.

There is no double standard.

Perry and Cain are doing a fine job proving my point. Hope all that free education down in Texas is working out well for them.

You're a consistent liar, I'll give you that. But a putz nonetheless. Go away boy, you bother me.

If anybody's keeping score, a few more accusations have surfaced. :o

On Clinton?
John Edwards?
Thankfully, the accusations against Ted Kennedy seem to have dried up. :D

The high point of the Kennedy dynasty (apart from JFK sleeping with an East German spy): "Kiss it." Now THERE'S a "profile in courage."

You figure by throwing irrelevant matters at this problem it will distract from the obvious, glaring dual standard you and the rest of the libtards are applying. Lawsuits, settlements and stories to the presss are interesting and relevant (perhaps) to this incident but not to the respone to Clinton/Thomas. You're simply so suffused with libtard rationalizations and justifications (and a very short memory) that you've convinced yourself this case is unique and different. The relentless heart of the matter with Thomas in the eyes of the MSM and feminists was that as Thomas' subordinate, Anita Hill couldn't consent to any advances by Thomas (which she never claimed in any case) because he was her boss. But Bill Clinton was Monica's boss and in the eyes of libtard hypocriets, the power differential didn't matter. The indisputable fact of the matter is libtards opposed Thomas' nomination to the court, and supported Clinton, notwithstanding the fact he conducted his personal life like a sailor on leave in Tijuana.

So your last ditch "there isn't a dual standard here" defense is: lawsuits and press coverage. Nothing to see here, nobody filed a lawsuit. Reality is determined by lawyers? No such thing as a suit filed in bad faith? And both incidents were covered in the press? Come on. And your faith that the MSM would have "inevitably" learned of the Cain settlements without a little help is misplaced. I understand you're willing to drink the Kool aid in defense of Clinton or of libtards in general, or something. But this is ridiculous. Libtards and especially feminists took a powder on Bill Clinton's behavior, while proclaiming themselves to be "shocked, shocked" at what Anita Hill said Clarence Thomas "did" to her (denied by Thomas and no proof offered). At worst, the unmarried Thomas talked dirty to the unmarried Hill. While the POTUS used a cigar, in the Oval, on a silly young woman. And subsequently lied about it under oath. And the reactions in libtard land to both behaviors was, uh, different.

You forgot having his life long pal Vince Foster whacked. I've explained it twice. You are impervious to the notion of a dual standard as between Thomas and Clinton. As to "growing a pair," that's the level of discourse we've come to know and love from you and many other libtard oafs.

No one other than you has suggested Cain "waived his unit" at these "ladies." What is alleged is that he made non sexual gestures, which in the minds of hysterical feminists, made them feel "uncomfortable," whatever that means. Your willingness to fill in the blanks here is amazing, adding details nobody else has suggested.

And this business about "consensual" versus "non consensual" again simply ignores my typically brilliant explaination (twice) of the point I was trying to make. It has nothing whatsoever to do with consent. It has to do with one libtard standard for Thomas and another for Clinton. Of course, in libtardland, the point was that a female in an unbalanced power relationship with a man can't make an informed decision of whether or not to "consent," if the man's name is Thomas (even though there was no sexual contact). But she can if the man's name is Clinton. But then, I suspect you know that and are just offering the customary tu toque change of subject.

Ask mommy dearest to leave you alone for once. You're such a sad, angry, disgruntled schmuck I pray that you won't die alone in that bunker you've built in the backyard.
