Do we know about the rates in this garage? Is it large enough where they won't mind if we park there and walk to the arena from there?EDIT... just heard from Barnum Publick House who reports that they now have parking available in an indoor garage around the corner on John Street.

IIRC, Milford parking is free after 10 (had a friend who frequently made UConn to Columbia trips)
I have to say kudos to the InfoBridgeport folks for being savvy enough to find this thread and being so helpful to all of us unfamiliar with Bridgeport. Much appreciated!
I really hope that UML students not only fill one bus but multiple ones and that we get a few thousand fans overall down there Friday. It isn't like we're in GB or MN which would've resulted in, I believe, far, far fewer UML supporters getting there. Since Bridgeport is only 2-3 hours away, let's show the NCAA committee that they did the right thing by keeping UML east and show them that Lowell will travel so that hopefully in the future we won't get shoved out to Siberia if they think our fans won't go either way.
Anyone know if Gumby, Easy Sign kid, etc. will be making the trek? Between them and everyone else, let's try and make Webster Bank Arena the Tsongas Center South on Friday!
Really appreciate your help.UMLFan - not sure if anyone has answered your question about parking. The parking fee at the Arena is $15. Metered parking is available on the streets for $1 an hour, and parking in the metered spaces is free after 6:00 pm and on Sundays.
No idea about how many buses, but I noticed they just set up a car pool page on Facebook as well to help people get down there. Great idea.I really hope that UML students not only fill one bus but multiple ones and that we get a few thousand fans overall down there Friday.
LT, thanks a lot for your help. If you make it to Barnum's on Friday around 1 or so and see a brown guy wearing a signed UML blue sweater, come by and say hi, I'll buy you a beer. This help is great.Just a suggestion, if you are staying in Milford, you can park in downtown Milford and take the Metro North train for $4.50 round trip. Make sure that you buy your ticket at the machine on the platform or they will charge double if purchased on the train, the trains run constantly, at least every hour. 11 minutes each way
And 1996 was 16 years ago, not 14. Ugh. Ignoring that stuff, it is a good article. Not bad insight into the other teams but man do they need a better editor (at least 3 typos in there, who is "Kimrass")....
Thank you so much. As others have mentioned, the help that you and LS have provided has been phenomenal and we are very much appreciative of it.GO-UML: just heard back from our friend at Barnim Publick House. He says the parking lot around the corner on John Street has plenty of room, and the parking fee is just $5. Sounds like a good option. Park once for a very fare price, walk a couple of blocks to the Arena, and you can hit the Barnum Publick House before/after the games.
