With Notre Dame's schedule released, there are only three known games that still need to be scheduled: UMass vs BC. Two of them will be at Conte and one at Mullins.

Looking at last year's schedule and doing a straight flip, there's definitely the possibility of BC at UMass on Fri, Oct 19. But, with BC playing in Orono this year on Fri, Nov 2, the second game cannot be Nov 3rd (I'm not excluding the possibility of the 4th, though). The third game definitely cannot directly match up with last year's schedule because both teams already have games scheduled for the weekend of Jan 11-12.

Barring any additional games for UAH, UNO or the AHA teams that are short a couple games and any additional changes (like the UAA-DU change or the RPI-UNH shift), the schedule for the season will be set.

Hockey East posted the composite schedule last week - http://www.hockeyeastonline.com/men/schedule/index.php. The composite only goes to 12/8, but each team's individual schedule is complete.

BC plays at UMass on Friday 10/19, and at home against UMass on Sun 11/4 and Friday 1/18.

Was posted in June, I believe. They have the Icebreaker, and then 3 different weekends with non-con, N. Michigan, UAH, and Quinnipiac, along with 28 conference games, so I believe they're full up anyway.

Assuming you mean UNO, they aren't full. Because they're travelling to Alaska this year, they are entitled to schedule two more NC games. They probably won't, even though Army has four remaining.

From @DU_Hockey on Twitter: DU's exhibition game vs. Univ. of British Columbia on 10/6 will most likely be played at Pepsi Center.

Due to the presidential debates at DU, Magness Arena cannot be used for the hockey game and this exhibition will be in an NHL arena.

I don't believe Nebraska-Omaha can schedule any more games. The IceBreaker tournament is a "once-in-four-years" exemption. The October 2009 tournament included Nebraska-Omaha, and they exempted the tournament then. This means that Nebraska-Omaha can not exempt the IceBreaker again until October 2013.

That gives Nebraska-Omaha their limit of 34 non-exempt games, plus 2 exempt games at Alaska-Anchorage.

The only four year exemption is the international tour. Nowhere in the rule book does it stipulate that participation in the IceBreaker tournament is limited to once every four years. I believe one of the Boston schools recently proved what I say to be true.

EDIT: http://www.ncaapublications.com/productdownloads/D113.pdf bylaw 17.12.5.3, clause m. This was enacted as of January 2008, so it may have been the case previously that there was a four year stipulation, but it is not the current case.

That's what I get for not checking the NCAA Manual before I posted. You are right, they removed the "once-every-four-years" part in the 2008 NCAA convention.

After doing some research, I think I see what happened. In 2007, the NCAA eliminated as many exemptions as they could from the rule book in all sports (they called this process "de-regulation"). They saw that the exempt tournaments were getting out of hand, which they clearly were, and hockey was a major offender. So the entire slate of tournament exemptions (including for the IceBreaker) was removed. But after the change was adopted but before it went into effect, the Hockey Commissioners Association added the exemption back in. The only difference is that when it was added back, the rule limiting teams in their ability to exempt it more often than once every four years somehow disappeared. I don't necessarily think they meant to change that rule, but they did. As a result, the tournament is exempt every year for all teams.

So Nebraska-Omaha is allowed to schedule 2 more games this year.
