Hate crime charges on parents by "the Feds"?? Classic Alaskan mindset. You can't make this stuff up.:D

I can't stand drive by critics that want kids hung by there charlie browns for silly mistakes, as if they were never young. I suppose Connor Reilly should be strung up by his thumbs for wrecking his knee at a party? The kids from Red River HS will be suspended and will probably end up having to do some kind of report/speech/community outreach which they certainly deserve but Feds? Get real.

1. Indeed. Since he actually stands up for himself instead of running and hiding, he could never play for Lucia.
2. He's an OHL player so he's not eligible to play NCAA hockey.
3. Really this is only about a 5 on the Zach Jones Rage Blackout Scale. It would probably rate much higher if not for the recent Aaron Dell meltdown where he beat up two players.

Yeah that is true - At least he did not tackle a defenseless goal. I thought OHL players could still come play D1 hockey???? Guess not.

Q. Do you remember your recruiting visit here?

A. Yes. I came in on a Saturday. It was a long weekend. We played an away game at Fort McMurray the night before. My brother met me at the Edmonton airport, we hopped on an plane and flew to Fargo. I got picked up in Fargo, drove to Grand Forks and had about an hour nap at the hotel before it was time to go to the arena. They were playing Minnesota and they were able to get a sweep. That was a pretty cool experience to see. That kind of started the whole thing.

Nice recruiting visit. Doesn't get much better than that.
