2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

Re: 2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

Nobody would offer that much. They had to throw in a bag of pucks to get someone to take me off their hands.

I was going to say, didn't we try and avoid picking you up at all costs?;)

only so I could hack you and not do it to a teammate..

The big ugly apt bldg that is now designated as historic.

One of the most talented architects from the area and his biggest legacy is the city's biggest eyesore. (Don't say it too loudly, my CEO worked on it with Ralph Rapson) Too bad the original Guthrie got bastardized (by another talented architect I used to work with) then torn down.

The historic ghetto in the sky. :)

When I was a kid I didn't know what those buildings were, and then my mom told me that they were just apartments. I really wanted to live there for a few years until my brother informed me as to the type of apartments they were. And the colored panels were still brightly colored back then, too.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was like "Oooh, colors!" when I was a kid, too.

Whatever you do for getting goalies to the skate, don't let Runninwiththedogs be involved. She already blew it once.

Blah, that was only partially my fault.

So - looking like I won't be playing tomorrow.:(

Wrenched my back last Sunday. It's gotten much better, but I still should not play this way. I'll dress and warm up, but will likely play little, if at all. :(

Have you ever played in an adult pick up game? It's not like what the kids play, it's much tamer. Contact should only be incidental, really. Don't go around hitting someone, unless it's prearranged. And very few, if any, of the skaters will be quick like you see in the kid games. No joke, man, don't be the little punk kid out there.

Are you kidding me? You think this is fun and games? Denver set the tone. I'm coming in high, coming in hard, and if you aren't paying attention that's not my problem. I'm here to win.
