Brent, the Amber is fine and I have at least 3 more stores to hit up on my drive home, hopefully I can find some that are not on the recall or some of what we have isn't vinegary. I'm still hard at work to make this F4 perfect ;)

OK, back to the topic of the actual Posters' Game. I'll be charging $15/skater for this thing to cover the 2 hours of ice we have. So long as we don't have many no-shows, I should be OK with that. Please have cash or check ready for check-in. I'll let you know who to make it out to there at check-in.

Thanks to all participants and we'll see you Saturday morning.

With 22 definites, the numbers look solid. With a good turnout from the probables and possibles, we may even fill! Where to draw the line is goldy_331's call. But in the past, 30 skaters and 2-3 goalies has usually been the limit. So if you want to play, don't take a chance. E-mail bostonewe today.

It's a great group. I know I speak for both alfablue and bostonewe when I say we're very sorry we won't be there to enjoy this year's game and festivities.

On a personal level, let me send out a shout to beerman. I'm glad you're playing; thanks for carrying the flag for OSU this year.;)

Another personal note: I WILL be in attendance at the tournament semi-finals on Thursday, and do hope to see some of you at the X.

Everyone: Be sure to extend a huge thanks to goldy_331 for all his contributions as a first-time organizer. Without his efforts, this event wouldn't have happened.

Once again, walk-ups may be accepted. But advance registration is strongly recommended.

Does anyone need equipment? If so, what do you need? I was asked to bring my extra gear once before and then nobody used it. I'd like to skip that this time around. One set's enough for me to use, thanks.

Goldy sent me an email, but this stupid bberry... But the answer applies to all of you- teams and colors

Hope most of you can bring light and dark- the teams will depend on what you bring. Last year we managed Michigan v the rest of the states (includong a sparty who wore the winged helmet) and I recall St Louis was east vs west.

Just try to bring options.

Replying to myself but here we go...the beer run is over...I have driven 312 miles since the first beer in this run was purchased, 8 varieties, 10 liquors stores, 30 bottles, 70 cans, $129.96, 1216 ounces

If I remember right there is a shower facility just off the main rink. We have used it in the past, but I would guess it will depend on what else is happening on Saturday

I just sent an e-mail to all those who are on our list. I just asked to try and bring a light and dark jersey to facilitate team formation. Also please remember to pay $15 per skater for the ice time.

You better get some eyeballs in the back of your head, I'm coming for you!!!

I called and left a message asking if showers could be made available, just so other know or if they care. Tomorrow we finally have hockey!

Likely teams appear to be State of Hockey (all Minnesota school fans) vs World. Since you put down the Mavs as your first team, you're with us!

Teams may be adjusted to try and even out ability. I may not even be able to skate beyond warm-ups. I wrenched my back last weekend and while it's much better than it was Monday, it's still stiff and sore. We'll see how it feels Saturday in warm-ups and I'll try to play some.

Perfect! The Mavs have been my team since birth and the D-2 days, but I've come to love the Sioux due to college next year, and attending final fives since the target center days, green was my favorite color:p so the sioux always stuck!

I called the arena for showers and whatnot, and they said each rink has four showers, so everything should work out well I believe! So if anyone else needs a shower, one should be available.:)
